This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the manner in which the Cardiology Interest Group of Jerusalem (“CARDIG-Jerusalem”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information provided by individuals (“Users”) who access or utilize this website (the “Site”). By using the Site, Users consent to the practices described herein.
CARDIG-Jerusalem is a nonprofit, student-led initiative recognized by Al-Quds University, and any information collected through the Site is handled solely for educational and organizational purposes consistent with our mission. Information voluntarily submitted by Users, including but not limited to names, email addresses, or other contact details provided for membership, event registration, or correspondence, shall be collected only to the extent necessary to fulfill the stated purpose for which it was provided. Such information shall not be sold, rented, leased, or otherwise disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
The personal information collected may be used for the limited purposes of communicating with Users, managing memberships, organizing events, disseminating educational materials, and improving the overall operation of the Site. By providing such information, Users acknowledge and consent that their data may be stored and processed by CARDIG-Jerusalem in furtherance of these purposes.
CARDIG-Jerusalem undertakes to implement reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, Users acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission or storage is entirely secure, and CARDIG-Jerusalem makes no warranty, express or implied, that such data shall remain free from all risk.

CARDIG-Jerusalem is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of such external sites, and Users who choose to access third-party resources do so at their own risk. Users are encouraged to review the privacy statements of any external websites they visit.
Users retain the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of personal information provided to CARDIG-Jerusalem, subject to applicable legal or organizational requirements. Any such requests should be submitted to us using the contact information provided below, and we shall make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
This Policy may be amended, modified, or updated at the sole discretion of CARDIG-Jerusalem at any time without prior notice. Any revisions shall become effective immediately upon posting to the Site, and continued use of the Site shall constitute acceptance of the updated Policy.
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable by the Al-Quds University, the American College of Cardiology and the State of Palestine, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising in relation to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts seated in Jerusalem.
